KW-Wireline Telemetry Cartridge

Overview

The Wireline Telemetry Cartridge (WTC) is an intelligent bridge between the tool bus and surface system. It serves both as a communications interface and as a programmable logging controller. It collects data from tools through toolbus and then make all data as packet and then send to surface system, also it can receive command from the surface system and then to control working mode of downhole tools. There is one DC-DC converter build-in to convert the high voltage from the line to lower working voltage for the toolbus.

Overview

The Wireline Telemetry Cartridge (WTC36) is an intelligent bridge between the surface system and downhole tools. It mainly consists of cable bus and tool bus interfaces, the master controller and step-down DC-DC power supply. The data is acquired and packed via tool bus, and then sent to surface panel via cable bus interface. The DAS sends data to the telemetry cartridge simultaneously to configure or control the cartridge and logging tools, achieving full-duplex communication between the surface system and the telemetry cartridge.
