Hydraulic sand jetting perforator fracturing
is well stimulation which combined of perforating, fracturing and . High speed liquid that from specialized jetting tools could shoot through casing, rock and shape hole. Bottom hole pressure is increased by annular fluid infusion, which exceed stratum fracturing pressure and crack layer. This method has advantage of deeper than ordinary perforating, aperture is larger and less hurt to stratum.
Application isolation
• Apply to low permeability reservoir, thin reservoir and edge/bottom water reservoir;
• Suitable for vertical well (casing, liner and openhole), horizontal well and multistage perforating fracturing
operation.
Technical Features
• Combined of perforating and sand fracturing, the aperture and hole connected to improve seepage channel;
• Perforation has advantage of deeper than ordinary perforating, aperture is larger and less hurt to stratum;
• Not confined by well completion way, could realize selective oriented perforating in horizontal well;
• String is anchored, which to improve the efficiency of the perforation;
• Could achieve multi-perforation and fracturing combination in one string;
• Inverse well-flushing and flowback in time; Mini frac testing and monitoring at same time, the control effectiveness is high ;
• The fracture pressure of well bottom is low, and get less of non-effective cracks. Then could select high percentage of sand;
• Extensive usage, could be used for openhole horizontal well and many other well conditions, in which could
select many ways of fracturing.
Working mechanism
Hydraulic sand jetting fracturing technology, jetting flow brings a increased pressure in jetting channels.
Pumping fluid to increase the annulus pressure, increased pressure from jetting flow combines with annular
pressure which higher than fracturing pressure and fracture stratum. Hydraulic packing technology, which by
controlling jetting tool to chose the position and orientation of fracturing cracks. Then high-speed fluids jet into holes and cracks. The holes are same as "Jetting pump". The annulus fluid is sucked
into stratum by the function of the differential pressure, to maintain the extension of cracks and realize the
hydraulic packing.
Basic operating process
1.Tools run into and locate in the well.
2.Oil jacket is open by annulus pressure, increase pressure from tubing, sand jetting perforating.
3.Pumping fracturing fluid into tubing to maintain pressure depressing of jetting nozzle, increase annulus
pressure and to lead the inside cracks and fracture extension.
4.Pump the sand-carrying fluid into tubing, replace the fluid afterwards.
5.Pull back tools and locate them for second crack perforator, fracturing. Repeat perforation and fracturing
again.
6.Repeatto complete multistage fracturing.

String tool components
Hydraulic sand jetting perforator fracturing tools are mainly consist of sand jetting perforator, packer,
check valve, sieve tube, guide shoe, crossover sub and so on. From bottom to top in sequence are
guide shoe—sieve tube—check valve—packer—sand jetting perforator (first level, second level, till to N level). According to the depth of the perforated
layer, need to add some length of tubing between sand jetting perforators. Select to use centralizer and
hydraulic anchor according to the well condition.
Principle of the monolayer hydraulic jetting fracturing tools
Drop steel ball and fall onto the ball seat, by which to seal bottom string. High pressure fracturing fluid
perforates oil layer through jetting nozzle.
Principle of multiple hydraulic Jetting Fracturing String tool
Drop steel ball and fall onto sealing bore, by which to achieve determined differential pressure and
cut shear pins. Sealing bore falls into sealing bore seat following, and high pressure fracturing fluid
perforates oil layer through jetting nozzle.
