As it is reported by the Russian government website on Monday, Russian prime minister Medvedev signed a government resolution banning the export of oil and petroleum products to Ukraine from today, 

 

It says Russia has imposed a ban on the export of oil and petroleum products from Ukraine. In addition, from June 1 this year, some Russian oil, petroleum products and coal can only be exported to Ukraine with the permission of the Russian ministry of economic development. The resolution shall take effect from the date of promulgation.

 

On the same day, Medvedev also said through the media, in addition to banning the export of oil and petroleum products to Ukraine, Russia will also ban some products imported from Ukraine, including machinery manufacturing, light industry and metal processing products.

 

The Ukrainian government has decided to expand the list of products banned from Russia, the Izvestia newspaper reported recently. Medvedev 18 said in this regard, recently Ukraine against Russia to take unfriendly moves. In this case, Russia is forced to protect its interests and take countermeasures.
