SUPPORT DURING THE BUILD PHASE:
- Control system and Software design specification is checked against the intended operation.
- Factory acceptance testing of control systems is conducted in accordance with the equipment manufacturer’s approved procedures.
- Network infrastructures are tested to confirm correct communications with rig equipment.
- Failure Mode Effects and Analysis tests are witnessed and evaluated.
SUPPORT DURING THE COMMISSIONING PHASE:
- Commissioning tests are witnessed and evaluated.
- The control system and associated software are evaluated against the intended operational functions.
- Any gaps identified in commissioning test procedures are captured and appropriate remedial test plans are recommended.
- System integration and acceptance testing is carried out to validate safe and correct equipment functionality and safe interoperability of equipment.
SUPPORT IN SERVICE WITH REGULAR ASSET ASSESSMENT ENSURES:
- Operational, functional checks, fault finding and diagnostics checks are carried out to ensure correct functionality and maintenance of the control system.
- Software configuration management procedures are tracked in accordance with manufacturer’s revisions and updates.
- Appropriate backup procedures are in place.
- Integrated Control System maintenance records are kept, checked and acted upon.
