Ball Check Valve
 
Typically run in tandem, the Ball Check Valve is a safety component used within a coiled tubing string. It provides one-way flow to allow fluids, N₂, or CO₂ to be pumped through the coiled tubing, while preventing well fluids from flowing back up the tubing string. Ball check valves will not permit drop balls or wiper plugs to be pumped through to the tool string below.
